- The minimum sea-freight chargeable weight is 31 kg; anything lighter is charged as 31 kg.
- Sea price = chargeable weight (whole kg) × the rate of the applicable range.
- Sea time — from 45 days: depends on the route, consolidation, vessel schedule, paperwork and customs clearance.
Actual and volumetric weight
When you place an order, CDEK staff check both the actual and the volumetric weight of the shipment. You pay for whichever is greater. Volumetric weight = Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) ÷ 5000.

How much does it cost to send a parcel from Thailand?
The price depends on the chargeable weight, destination and delivery method. Express starts from the base 0.5 kg rate; see the tables and examples above, or enter your parameters in the calculator for a preliminary amount.
What is chargeable weight?
It's the greater of two values: the actual weight and the volumetric weight (Length × Width × Height ÷ 5000). You pay by chargeable weight, so a large but light box can cost more than its actual weight.
Are the rates final?
The rates on the page are current, but any estimate is preliminary. CDEK staff confirm the exact price after checking the actual and volumetric weight and the contents of the shipment.
How does sea freight differ in price?
Sea is cheaper per kilogram for large batches, but a minimum chargeable weight of 31 kg applies and transit is longer. The rate drops as the batch gets heavier — see the sea-rate table. Sea is available for the destinations supported by the calculator.
